What AES Pool Heating needed from their website was a responsive solution that would allow them to showcase their products and solutions.

The new website design needed to tell the story of the lifestyles that are possible through year-round swimming. We crafted a design system to ensure that the all pages of the website would align consistently with the brand guidelines and requirements.

COLOURS

BUTTON STYLES

We settled on some simple, pill-shaped buttons to match the circular logo, choosing yellow for the primary colour to contrast well with the imagery and blue as the secondary for contrast over lighter images and background colours.

HERO STYLE

With a big focus on lifestyle imagery, we chose to place the menu items over the background image for a more immersive feel. The page title, breadcrumbs and a description also appears towards the bottom of the image to lead the user into the remainder of the page.

It was essential that the website was designed to load quickly and ensure users could easily find information, especially when they were out and about.

The pages were designed to be very flexible, with the ability to move blocks of content around to restructure pages as needed. We prioritised the most important content and considered the journey of the user throughout the website.
